Isn't that the point? It's not like the public follow the SS, so it wouldn't really take away from the main spectacle or anything. They need to try and bridge the gap between tests an FC cricket so it's a good move IMOSo while it would be nice to have longer games to promote longer innings etc, I wonder if it would take the gloss away from tests.
The schedule for next season is all about maximizing tv revenue from the Australian summer and literally ignores the preparation of fringe players for international test toursthey are gonna have 6 rounds in a row before the Boxing Day test, not even Ryobi interrupted, but the BBL going into February is going to completely mess up our test team for the Feb SA tour, which is going to compound the impending humiliation England are dealing us.

pretty sure plenty have made similar posts, its just not the only post made over and overwe're all just regular Backlash's now
I was going to say with a home World Cup in less than 2 years this probably isn't the greatest way to prepare and give one of the host nations the best possible chance to win it but then I remembered this is Cricket Australia () whom seem to actually go out of their way to **** their national team over. Don't worry about your country's chances at this massive event though, just make sure you hand over your money for tickets like always.
This.I'll probably make it to a stack of Ryobi Cup games now. Keen.
will host the final iircDrummoyne?
I'm keen to go to some games too.
