I had high hopes for Hildreth, and Joe Denly, a few years back but I suspect that ship has sailed.Hildreth strikes the ball nicely but his technique is bad against the moving ball from what I've seen.
No wonder we were completely ****ing useless when he was in charge with the cronies.
nah **** we are just trying to work out who we want to burn the mostits hilarious that we're struggling to find a way to fit Warner in the team that doesn't include someone else getting unfairly burnt
there's this one guy who deserves to get burnt though......................
The only possible explanation i can see is that Atherton started writing 'Bopara is a front-runner' then left his computer unlocked whilst he went for a number two, then Ravi or someone from Cricinfo snuck in and wrote the rest
Which as we all know is more than can be said for MPVDammit.
I completely forgot White was, despite the ocker accent, a native born Frenchman.
I'm more thinking that he's got a good while to learn his craft before he's test standard and that he might tail off or decide to become a specialist batsman etc etc..He's 19 man. Even if you did say yes there would be no reasonable basis.
Unlike Richard Dawson this lad can bat so has far more chance to come back if dropped. If Agar gets dropped does anyone else think he'll be a 2 test wonder?
2002 Perth - Vaughan, White, Silverwood and Dawson.Regarding the last time we saw four Yorkshire players in an England side, this is the one I was thinking of.
2nd Test: England v West Indies at Lord's, Jun 29-Jul 1, 2000 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
Don't worry, their U13s weren't good enough to beat Oxfordshire today.Much as it pains me to admit but Yorkshire are doing something right with their development programs, if you look at the latest under 19 squad they have 5 from Yorkshire. None from Lancashire and we would be lucky if we have had more than a couple of selections in the past five years or so.

Might be an interesting quiz question in not many years. He's 19 man. Even if you did say yes there would be no reasonable basis.
How has Warner been absolute rubbish for a long time?I don't want Warner picked. So what he's scored runs against some ****-weak attack. Just stick with the players you've chosen. Make Warner really earn it. And pay for the absolute rubbish he's been as opener for a long time. I do want Lyon in though. Should never have been dropped.
Are you mixing up Tests and ODIs? Warner's only really had one bad Test series recently and that's in India. The guy did score four Test fifties in a row not that long ago (granted, against the might of SL)...I don't want Warner picked. So what he's scored runs against some ****-weak attack.
