Got to see off the new ball though. Hope Watson has the sense not to blast away from the first ball. Given how the pitch has been behaving, we should only need about 10 overs of more cautious play.

My pick for a massive score would be Hughes if he wasn't batting at 6 incidentally. Bit of a weird spot for a guy who really cashes in when he's set. Still think he'll go alright.

Steve Waugh yesterday on TMS admitted that he never walked, and would never encourage any of his players to do so. Apparently players are brought up in Australia being told not to walk, and that the umpires decision is to be respected, correct or incorrect. Had more of an issue with Broad stopping to do his shoelaces up to waste time.

Just seen it, and my god. That is some of the worst batting physics I have ever seen. It looks like they've taken several backward steps, not moved forward. Looks plain awful. I really hope it doesn't look like that when it comes out, be embarrassing if it does.
