The big selection error was Trent Bridge really. Bresnan or Onions clearly should've played there, and then Finn wouldn't be completely down on confidence for this venue where the pitch would actually suit him a bit. He had to be dropped after he leaked like a tap in the first Test but that wouldn't have happened if he rightfully wasn't playing.
Pretty sure I was the only person who called this at the time.
