Disagree that Bell's shots to third man look good. I'd welcome them as an Australian bowler capable of moving it off the straight.
Yeah I think the lack of bounce helps. His vast array of third-man shots are much less dangerous.I know we seem to have to talk about Bell in a different way to any other players but this is the best he has looked in a good while.
Hopefully, time for a bit of a change like thatTime for smith before the new ball from pattos end
Yes it is looking a pretty high risk shot on this type of pitch, problem is it is a shot he usually plays with great timing and to great effect, but may be worth just putting it away for now, the new ball may just help it come on for him.Bell's seriously gonna chop on if he keeps at that back foot angled drive...
Looking good doesn't mean they're smart to play. I reckon the Aussies would like him to keep on attempting those too.Disagree that Bell's shots to third man look good. I'd welcome them as an Australian bowler capable of moving it off the straight.
Don't know about that with so little bounce, but they'll definitely be hoping he continues after they take the new ball.Disagree that Bell's shots to third man look good. I'd welcome them as an Australian bowler capable of moving it off the straight.
I thought they did look good and were very well executed. I will also be happy if he never plays them again this Test!Disagree that Bell's shots to third man look good. I'd welcome them as an Australian bowler capable of moving it off the straight.
Makes me happy just becasue it reminds me of when he played it constantly for about 2 sessions against India. God India were **** that summer.Don't know about that with so little bounce, but they'll definitely be hoping he continues after they take the new ball.
