still not sure there's actually that much pressure built though. Cook especially looks very comfortable doing this all day. Not much else they can do though when the pitch is so flat.

No hotspot on the Root one either according to Gower and he hit that right?
Yeah it's not uncommon for hotspot to miss edges, Chanderpaul admitted to edging one that didn't show on hotspot before. I think the part of the bat it hit might not have been in the frame. Plus Trott obviously thought he'd hit it, although obvz the umpire can't use that but it does further suggest that he did.
