Prior going for a counter-attacking effort, when you get out playing that way you are lambasted if that goes over Hughes and he goes on the attack he is highly praised for his style of batting. In fairness it probably was too wide to go after, he was visibly reaching for it but Prior does attack in most given situations and it is a strength of his.
Nonsense, it was too wide, and he's just come in, it was dip**** batting of the highest order, but he's not the only one. Oh and now in my vicinity some **** is playing One Direction very loudly. FML.

stuart broad's 169 should really have an asterisk next to it, and that's not to say that he was not out

You can't help but think, if the conditions remain similar, Anderson will absolutely tear it up here. Really pretty good conditions for swing bowling.

Starc, never should have been playing, its always been between the others to fight it out for the other spots. I'm not sure how different it would be with Harris or Bird, but they would be better than Starc. Always been my opinion

You can attack without playing a shot as moronic as that
I'm not suggesting it was a good shot, the ball was too wide as I alluded to in the initial post, but his approach is something that we have come to enjoy, and there are times when he will attack the wrong ball. It was a poor decision to throw his arms through that ball, it's not braindead batting because of the situation, it was just a misjudgement of width for me.
