And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon england's mountains green
And was the holy lamb of god
On england's pleasant pastures seen
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills
And was jerusalem builded here
Among those dark satanic mills

Bring me my bow of burning gold!
Bring me my arrows of desire!
Bring me my spear: o clouds unfold!
Bring me my chariots of fire!
I will not cease from metal fight;
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand
Till we have built jerusalem
In england's green and pleasant land.
Did you find that on Shazam?

Well Agar has certainly looked good, but I really fear we are going to burn up a kid. Results will tell if the selectors got it right, but I fear it's too far too soon for Ashton. Consistently said Starc is our 5 best bowler. Again hoping to be proved wrong, but I reckon it's odds on he'll have no more than 1 wicket before the 2nd new ball. Damn, I am basically hoping to be proved wrong about almost everything. Wouldn't have moved Clarke out of 5, don't have much faith in Watson at opener, and don't believe Siddle will be anything more than steady when what we need is dangerous.

So desperately hoping to be wrong about at least 4 of those 5 decisions or we're going to get pumped.
Plus Ed at 3.

Haha I hope you are wrong. I was getting used to the idea of Clarke at 4 but now given the strong tail we have, I think he should have stayed at 5.

Are we really watching Trott and Nasser talking about Notting Hill in the build-up to the Ashes? This is ridiculous. Get on with the bloody game.

So ten minutes before the first ball of the Ashes, and it's a ****ing fluff piece about Jonathan Trott. Is this Channel 9, or something?

Yeah I'lll start off that way, but after a few 9 ads, I'll probably just stick to Fox.

Ed was a 50:50 for me. Wouldn't have complained if Uzi had come in or even if Warner got a gig, but not worried about him hanging on even if he deserved it less than Lyon.

Happy that the People's Princess retains his spot after missing out on the original squad.

I can appreciate some Coldplay. Went to the same tour Trott was talking about, and it completely changed my mind about them. Were immense live, a proper stadium show. Not surprised he went 3 times, I'd happily have gone again.

Now we've got highlights of some egg-chasing. This is awful build up. If this is anything to go by, what the hell are we going to have to endure at lunch?

Agar selection come out of nowhere! Seems a stiff one on Lyon and if the Aussies were trying to ramp up the pressure on Root before the Test then I imagine England are going to put pressure on Agar with their cricket.

Always pleased to see Steve Smith in an Australian Test XI, though I am presuming he has improved remarkably since I last saw him.

Finn gets the nod ahead of Bresnan, with Bresnan's record at Trent Bridge that I'm sure would have made it a tougher decision, but Bres still looked without his nip in the warm-up against Essex so don't disagree with the Finn inclusion.
