It's the biggest competition in the world, one that pretty much every player aspires to do well in, I should have thought it was obvious.Yeah, I don't know why he celebrated winning the champions league

That's probably included in the final price. He only has a year left on his contract.Bear in mind Barcelona already paid Santos €10m for a first refusal option on Neymar.
It's 25 million euros + 3 million for 55% of the share.Neymar confirmed to Barca for next season. Direct replacement for Villa, one would imagine. Fee being quoted as US$36m, which is considerably less than the rumours would have had you believe it would be.
I often thought that, but the thought of Wigan in the Europa is bad enough. If they introduce a 5th spot for some leagues, should give it to the cup winners.
Football, bloody hell.He is owned by a number of different companies and what not.
The problem with the Europa is that from a marketing POV there's no way round the "it's like the Champions League, but ****ter" aspect of the competition (UEFA haven't helped in this regard by making the format exactly the same as the Champions League, introducing a Europa League anthem, changing the name of the competition etc). Same would happen with a rejuvinated CWC, and you can't make the Champions League any bigger than it already is without seriously impacting Europe's domestic leagues. They should **** the Europa off altogether and bring back the Cup Winners Cup
Where's the logic in calling the top competition the Champions League anyway? It's also a trophy for 17th in a way. You get a trophy for 17th but not 4th. Where's the logic behind that
