Weather should be good for the next two days at least.

Hopefully England win the toss tomorrow, and choose to bat first with limited cloud cover, as it will cloud over on Sunday, which will favour the England bowlers.

Hopefully the weather hold off, as it would be a shame if this ends in a draw

I don't quite understand how anyone can argue that going in without a spinner in england is a bigger risk than playing a guy who hasn't played a test in two years. Yet they try.

@Erebus26 There may be one reason not to depend too much on Kane Williamson. I know that when he played for Gloucestershire a couple of seasons back there was a lot of muttering about his action on the county circuit, especially for his faster ball. Some opponents were very unhappy about his action (I'm a Gloucestershire fan and remember this well). Maybe it would not be wise to subject him to too much scrutiny by playing him as a specialist, bowling long spells?
Ha, just as well he's not living his once-mooted fantasy life as Kaneh Viljoemsson, Proteas No. 7 by the sounds.

Yeah, they just showed Wardy on SSN, and there wasn't a cloud at the sky. Going to be glorious all weekend (if a bit chilly), it's the days after that that are the problem.
