You must be referring to the first innings wins. :P

Look, I think we can all agree that Burt ****ley hitting his wicket attempting a pull shot is a fitting way to end the Shield rounds.

QLD make the Shield with not one batsman who's scored 200 runs for the season averaging 40. Put the 200min thing as some **** would probably find someone.

Meanwhile Tassies have Ponting, Cosgrove, Doolan, Wells, Krejza and Silk.

Punter is looking a big shot of winning his first Shield. Wanted a Blues final win obvs, but that would be second best. Having dominated the competition he has earned it.

Yeah I said early on in the season that Id love to see win him win a Shield but now that QLD is in the final I don't really want to see it.

QLD and the Heat have won the last game of the regular season each time and had results in other games go perfectly. Quite crazy.

Is there anyone who didn't play this round in with a chance of playing in the final like a Cutting, Krejza; Boyce, Lynn etc?

I think there's a reasonable chance Queensland might bring a specialist bowler in for Neser, or possibly even Reardon given that Neser hit runs. They know the pitch is going to be flat; I don't think they'll want to be relying on Hopes to be a strike bowler as he has all season on that sort of wicket.

I have no idea if Cutting will be back from injury by then.
