Haha WOW!!

Clarke clearly has zero confidence in that pair. Even if they'd managed to scrap for a 15-run partnership that could have been crucial overall.

But I always back Clarke's attacking instincts and you know that he's completely caught India off guard there.

C'mon Patto and Sids!!

He was hardly threatening before the first wicket and Wade gifted him one. After that he has bowled decently but it's been tailenders mostly and the ball has started turning at both ends. Even Jadeja has looked more threatening.

Ojha in the first 2 matches would have certainly have gotten more wickets by now. And even if we want a offie it's time to try out others too.

Edit - Dhoni has not bowled Ashwin at all since the ball started turning more.
Yeah but the way you blokes have carried on about it constantly you'd think he was a massive proven failure. Yeah he's a bit past it but in this game we've also got:

- Murali Vijay playing
- Ishant Sharma playing
- Xavier Doherty playing
- Glenn Maxwell playing as a bowler

etc etc.

Honestly, the fact that someone who was a genuinely good bowler has earned a bit of an undeserved recall and isn't quite at his best is the least of the worries for either side. And he's bowled better today than Ojha would've IMO. It's not the end of the world if Harbhajan takes a few wickets; just accept it.

I guess the chance of a wicket tonight is better than another 5-10 runs. Scaly will have steam coming out of his ears if he is watching this.

yeah should have done it straight away. guess he wanted to see if pattinson/doherty had anything in them other than dots
Well he probably wanted to talk to the coach about it too, see what he thought. Can't do that when you're still walking back.

To add to my previous post Ojha has won matches for India recently and been the best bowler for the last year and more. Harbhajan did that dogs ages ago.

When crunch time comes and other bowlers aren't firing, i know who out of the 2 has a better chance. But we'll keep Harbhajan in the team until he gets smacked in one or 2 matches which will invariably happen sooner or later.

Oooh. This is an interesting move.

Given how vulnerable the Indian openers are I can see this paying off.

So when did Australia last lose a test after declaring in their first innings?

Obviously a long way to go in this game but 237 isn't enough one would imagine.
