Kerala isnt even a country thoughjust about every country in the world tags themselves as such. Just so you know.
Top effort to name 100 lads, can't fathom Langer and Ponting being in the same world team, the difference in ability and performance was substantial.
I just liked the idea of having the top 3 from Australia's most successful ever team back together. But yeah, swapped him for the obvious Bruce Mitchell.Not so much a selection of 'The 100 greatest cricketers', but 9 great teams, and each capable of beating any of the other teams 'on their day';
More after working combo's and teams 'gelling' rather than a strict order of greatness.would rather have Imran Khan than either Wasim or Dennis Lillee in that first 11 IMO. also think McGrath could be higher up. but otherwise not bad
IMO, there have been some great all-rounders for Procter to compete with but very few batsmen to compare with Richards or Pollocky is procter under rated compared to b.rchrds (and pollock)
It's really difficult to argue too strongly with any of the players as they are all "great."Nice concept social.
So guys, thoughts on my or Watson's teams. Grave omissions or inclusions?
Why?06. Steve Waugh - stands alongside Bradman as the biggest prick but what a player

Imran and Hadlee both compete strongly with Procter as bowling ARs.
an allrounder in procter league is rarer than a batsman in richards class
if barry is different from hobbs / gavaskar / hutton (lets frgt trumper , sehwag.. )Imran and Hadlee both compete strongly with Procter as bowling ARs.
There haven't been many (any?) opening batsmen as dominant or intimidating as B.Richards.
There are a few players to compete with Pollock though.
Nice. For a slightly unconventional selection (openers, Kallis over Sobers, Waugh's inclusion), this is pretty hard to put fault in.With the exception of Bradman (99.94 doesnt lie), the only way that I can pick a team is through having seen it with my own eyes
ATG Team 1st XI
01. Matthew Hayden - criminally underrated as he was a complete beast
02. Barry Richards - saw him score 200 during WSC
03. Donald Bradman - 99.94
04. Viv Richards - no way anyone could be better than this guy but 99.94 says otherwise
05. Jaques Kallis - best cricketer I have seen so sorry Sachin
06. Steve Waugh - stands alongside Bradman as the biggest prick but what a player
07.Adam Gilchrist + - sheer genius
08. Imran Khan - redefined himself, bowling and his country's cricket
09. Malcolm Marshall - true great who had everything
10. Murali - sheer weight of wickets
11. Glen Mcgrath - best bowler I have seen
