***Official*** England in New Zealand series 2013

It's not really being a fanboy; it's just prioritising the Tests. Setting England 15 runs less to chase in the second ODI is a small price to pay for New Zealand if it means Taylor averages 50 in the Test series.
It's not just that though, it's because Taylor has a proven track record of ending up with a 100+ sr after boggy starts like this.

Good batting should get us to 260. But we need Rossco there for another 10 overs imo, I don't like the look of our middle order tbh.

*I actually forgot about B Mac, that makes it alot nicer.

10 an over from here is 290.

Wickets in hand.
A set Ross Taylor.
McCullum and a PP still to come.

Make it happen!

Taylor should chill now and Elliot should take over the slogging.

That way we can have both McCullum and Taylor at the end.

Yeah, who woulda thunk that forcing a captain to set a more attacking field could result in wickets falling.

So strange.
I've said this before but I think the batsman mindset change is the biggest factor. By labeling it they feel they have to totally change their gameplan.

I'd happily bet that Finn would have it sorted within a game if it cost a run each time.

Well it's cost him key wickets, and apparently when he's smacked for 4 it's allowed, not really seeing any advantage for him, and he's trying a shorter run-up to counter-act it.
