Honestly, he wasn't batting poorly, they're just bowling really well.50 for Taylor. Gets a big clap, sounds like one of his worst fifties in a long time.
Must hit out now.

It's not just that though, it's because Taylor has a proven track record of ending up with a 100+ sr after boggy starts like this. It's not really being a fanboy; it's just prioritising the Tests. Setting England 15 runs less to chase in the second ODI is a small price to pay for New Zealand if it means Taylor averages 50 in the Test series.
Yeah, who woulda thunk that forcing a captain to set a more attacking field could result in wickets falling. The wonders of the batting powerplay
I've said this before but I think the batsman mindset change is the biggest factor. By labeling it they feel they have to totally change their gameplan.Yeah, who woulda thunk that forcing a captain to set a more attacking field could result in wickets falling.
So strange.
I'd happily bet that Finn would have it sorted within a game if it cost a run each time.
Tbf, the first ever time it happened to him, it cost him a big wicket. I think things like this are much harder to get deal with than a lot of people think.I'd happily bet that Finn would have it sorted within a game if it cost a run each time.
