Gotta admire Federer for coming back like that. Thought he was done. I'm still backing Murray to get the job done.

He's been such a champ, but this feels a real passing the baton moment. Couldn't strap it on for the fifth at all.

Murray's first GS win over the great man, I believe.

I daren't listen to the BBC commentary, no doubt they'll dredge up some complete turd about Murray has transformed his mental game, wanted it more or some other bollocks.

Federer still has the mentality of a champion, but Murray was just too good ultimately and should have won in 4 sets really.

Loath as I am to agree with Scaly, that's pretty much spot on.

Murray's just a better player now. The fact that he jibbed the tiebreaks shows, if anything, our Rodge still has the mental edge, but Murray's at his peak and Fed's a good two or three years past his.

Yeah I can't disagree with that. Really enjoyed the game last night. Well deserved Murray. I don't really know how Federer got it to go five sets tbh.

So much respect for both men. Murray and Djokovic really are in the prime of their careers, and its crazy to think Fed can still hang with these guys.

That break by Fed in the 4th had me fist pumping, and we all know I'm not his biggest fan. But he is a true champion.

Fed has never played two 5 setters in a row by the way. Crazy stat.

Whilst Murray giving up a 2 set lead at the US Open final last year and now failing to serve out the match against Fed last night aren't exactly great things for him, the fact he was able to regroup and mentally recover in both matches was very positive.

I'm a huge Li fan after tonight. Never gave in despite her body failing her, had a calm demeanor despite nothing going right. Thought she had Azarenka covered before the injury made her shotmaking go slightly awry too.

What do people think will be the score in sets tomorrow? Bookies seem to think Djokovic in 3.... surely not?

I really can't understand how the odds for the final are the same as the us open final, which andy won. Have not learned anything apparently

Yeah I wouldn't think that either player would win 3 consecutive sets against the other but then again I wouldn't think we are going to see another classic 5 setter either so I would predict the Djok in 4 sets.
