UV is still pretty gun tbh

Tiwary is good as well but there is only so much space for batsmen in the line up.

Pujara is about equal with Gambhir

All of them are upgrades over Viru though
He's solid now, but not as gun as he was before.

Tiwary is right on par with Sir Jaddu and Maybe Raina as the best Indian fielder. Hits the stumps probably more than either too.

That was probably the best of Kumar's wickets in this series. Not the ball itself, but how he set it up against a quality batsman.

So, once PK and Irfan both come back, who'd you play ?
It depends on the conditions and team combination, but Ishant will go out for one of them. Keep in mind that because of 2 new balls the swing lasts for longer than usual, which means that both PK and Kumar can play without the "who's gonna take the new ball" problem.

Shami Ahmed lacks the power and pace to bowl short. He'll get smashed on a flat Hyderabad/Rajkot/Ahmedabad wicket. We've yet to see good fielding from the bowlers- so far, B Kumar seems to do it best. While you can put together a good top five/six that's excellent on the field (Rahane-Mukund-Kohli-Pujara-Raina-Kaif), finding bowlers good on the field (B Kumar, Shami? Abdulla? Umesh?) is hard.

Yeah, both are injured at the moment so tough to tell, but reckon we can play all of Irfan,Sir Jaddu, and Ashwin and have decent batting depth.

Then if we play Irfan in that role, don't think we can have both PK and BK . It'll be all 3 seamers of similar type. Yadav will come back too, i guess though he should be saved for tests.
