Maybe Dhoni wants to get sacked?
it's all his fault. had he not run himself out.
i mean had pews not run him out, india would still be batting and would prob have had a handy lead by now. at least then it woudn;'t have been a total waste of a session.

Tbf, if India don't look like getting a wicket at all no amount of runs will have allowed an Indian win.

You're right though, stupid runout cos India the chance of scoreboard pressure.

But its on the bowlers now. Get some wickets ****s

and it will be a miracle if they get 10 wickets in time considering the pitch condition and the way england are batting and will bat for the remainder of the test

Yes it's starting to make interesting viewing isn't it - currently 1.92 per 100 balls. Makes Root look like Jessop.

The old-timers are saying that most of the '81-82 series was just like this!

The funniest thing about this is that it's one of the best batsmen in a career best run of form. This isn't someone who has been seeing it like a golf ball or struggling to bat to the standard required at this level. Match situation is obviously a huge factor, but it's hilarious.

Cook just determined to bat long enough to save the game at all costs it seems. Could backfire if he gets out and we lose a couple quickly as we haven't gone anywhere. Though having said that it isn't as if the bowlers are creating loads of chances with amazing deliveries that are unlucky not to get wickets.

Cook ruining his stats now with 2 runs off his last 8 balls.

I think it's a mistake to bat too slowly actually. Runs aren't irrelevant; the slower they score they longer they have to bat. Also bowling a lot of maidens gets the bowlers in a good rhythm.
