Graham Gooch played test cricket for 22 years till the age of 42. Jayasuriya played one day cricket for 22 years till the age of 42. So Tendulkar is not that old in terms of age for international cricket.

Yeah, Courtney was amazing at the end of his career, especially when you consider that Ambrose wasn't always available (due to injury and then retirement). He averaged under 21 in his last 30 test matches (21 of which were played against Australia, South Africa and Pakistan).

Among fast bowlers, Courtney Walsh has to be a name to be mentioned here

519 test wickets, 1807 FC wickets, 18 years of test cricket - and importantly all that while bowling fast...First line in his cricinfo profile is apt - "A physiological phenomenon, Courtney Walsh probably bowled faster for longer than any man in history."

Still remember those 8-over spells in full flow during summer in sub-continent...and repeated time and again throughout the day...test after test...
Spot on. What a weapon

Zak should just try and go for some big shots, I don't see him surviving for long defending.

A player like Tendulkar too is not the norm, just saying.
That was kind of the whole point.

doesn't matter if the pitch is flat and has just uneven bounce, coz reverse swing can make all the difference here.

hence for once im expecting zaheer khan to do well

if however he fails here, he's seriously finished too

what baffles me is that why dhoni doesn't bat like this in the death overs of an ODI etc..
is it due to fear of failure..?

i just want dhoni to hit more sixes.

so entertaining.

dhoni is cheetah. look at that running
yeah gonna need Ojha to hang round for Dhoni to hit more sixes lol.

Dhoni is definitely the fastest runner I've ever seen though, absolute lightning
