What are you talking about? Cowan scored a ton in Brisbane, Warner in Adelaide which put them on top in both games.

Exactly this. With the exceptions of 3 and 4 all the batsman have contributed. Australia were also on top for the first 2 matches and if not for rain and Pattinson's injury could be 2 up already.

Alot of positives can be taken from this and when you consider just how small the contributions of 3 and 4 were it'll be hard to find someone who can't do better.

Clarke just pre meditated a smack over his head for six because the field had been brought up. Petersen did probably slow it up and drop it shorter, but it was Clarke just being unnecessarily sloggy opposed to anything special.

Who do SA play next? If Petersen plays I'm tipping he does nothing. He's pretty bloody ordinary. Not saying much about how Australia have played him though.

Meh, it's cricket. Honestly, doesn't hurt that much at all. Day 2 was horrific, but I've posted before about how it seemed a bit passe to me. (cbf with accent)

It was just a poor shot, yeah it was pretty good to do it, but as I said, nothing a grade spinner wouldn't have been able to do. Was most unClarke like.

And against NZ - yeah he might take a couple of wickets, but hmmm.

honestly, I don't mind. it's kind of good in a way in that I wouldn't like us to be no.1 until we actually are no. 1. And SA are definitely a better team than us at this stage.
