The Tiger King
FixedAn Indian batting lineup collapsing to foreign spinners at home is unacceptable. Even more so is being outbowled by foreign spinners.
Clean house. I'd rather lose with Bangladesh 2nd XI than accept this.

I'd guess Bangladesh 2nd XI is much better than Baroda 2nd XI.Fixed
Agreed. I know that Onions leaves us with Anderson batting at number 9, but that would be more than compensated if Onions can knock a couple over with the new ball. At the moment, Broad is a throw-back to the days when guys like Abid Ali and Solkar opened for India to take the shine of the ball before Bedi, Chandra and the others did their thing.I don't think it matters that much if Onions is similar to Anderson (and in reality I don't think they're that similar - Onions is much more aggressive and gets swing and seam, Anderson is much more of a swing specialist). You basically need two seamers who can use the new ball. Anderson can reverse it so that's fine. If India keep serving up pitches like this and playing Panesar like they've not seen a spin bowler before you don't need anything else from the seamers. If the pitch has more in it then Anderson and Onions will find and exploit it.
Whoops, i appear to have opened the door to 2008Yeah, but they could bat serviceably, and Solkar was possibly the best short leg of all time.
Broad is like Pakistan's selection of Junaid Khan in the UAE. We'd have won that Test with any English-qualified person in Broad's place.
Dennis still turning in his grave though....Taste it smali.
Another dig at the Adelaide track?Watch SL/NZ until it rains.
And we, at Cricket Web, are thankful for thatDon't know how you guys find the time. These days I am so tired that I can't be bothered to watch any cricket.

1 point for whichever country has the most centurions over the course of the series Jono takes a 2-1 lead
1 point for whichever country has the highest wicket taker over the course of the series Ojha leads the way with 9
1 point for series win
.5 for Highest scorer each match - Pujara's 206* gives Jono the half point
.5 highest wicket taker each match Ojha takes 9 wickets, same as all England's bowlers combined, so another half point to Jono.
Furball 0-3 Jono
Finn played the home series in 2010, and didn't play the series in the UAE because we went with 2 spinners and he's not as good as Anderson or Broad.Does Finn have poor fitness issues?? Seems to have missed more matches than played if I remember correctly..even the 2011 series against Pakistan he was ruled out with injury..
I was actually complimenting guys for being so dedicated and me being so envious, but you have to act like a dick. And we, at Cricket Web, are thankful for that
To be fair, Dhoni had to deal with India's vastly superior spin bowling attack.Bye competition: Dhoni 31, Prior 7.
Who would you have picked instead? How on earth can Dhoni justify playing Harbhajan? Was cack for his state and his short stint at Essex. Must be cos he skittled England in a T20 eh?
