I was saying over a few beers after the game on Sunday that I hadn't seen a batsman treat good bowlers with the contempt Clarke has this year since Viv.

I'll adjust that. I don't think even King Viv had a year of such imperious form, although I was too young to see him in 76.

Personally think that should just be given out. Like I haven't seen anything to suggest that he without doubt didn't hit it.

Yeah, not sure what it was either because his bat didn't hit the pad. Probably his feet shuffling or something.

EDIT: Listening to it again it definitely sounds like an edge.
