SA always win OD matches though. In fact their OD side is pretty strong on paper. That said has a side batting second won a game this season in an OD match? Don't recall anything so far.

Haha its a complete farce though. Its reasonable I guess if it was just one player being replaced by the 12th man, but this is a joke.

QLD to lose within 3 days anyway so probably a moot point.
I dont' think that's the issue tbh. NSW should have to name the day 4 replacements before the toss not at close of play Day 3.

Injury-plagued teenage quick Pat Cummins won't play for NSW in the Shield clash after being yesterday sent for scans on a side strain while former Test 'keeper Brad Haddin will also miss the match with a thumb injury.

SA going into the Shield match in Tas without Bellerive specialist George at all and making Richardson 12th in favour of the new guy is interesting to say the least. George will be crying in the stands at how good the conditions are too. It's like the selectors figure if they sabotage the team enough, they can lose their way to the alternate dimension where they actually win.

Maybe just crazy enough to work.

EDIT: Just did the math for how much George loves Bellerive;

Career

131 wickets at 31

Bellerive

30 wickets at 18

That's almost a quarter of his entire FC wicket haul at one ground and his average there is only that high because he got smashed wicketless in the last spell he bowled there. :laugh:

Assuming those stats don't include the Australia A game against England, were George took no wickets for 135.
