A difference in second decimal of NRR. Not going to matter. The last 2 games will decide.

Will look silly if both games are super overs with the same results (wins for both Pak and India or losses for both Pak and Ind).

While Pakistan lost the game I think they have the ingredients to win the tournament. They bat really deep with batsmen till no. 9 able to hit big. And a bowling that has lot of variety and perfectly suited for the conditions in the island nation. They just need to apply themselves. Sit out the baring order - Mallik and Akmal should play up the order. Gul needs to bowl with confidence. They should not drop any catches.

Something tells me that this tournament will get decided by the bowlers. Other sides with very good bowling being Australia, Sri Lanka and south Africa.

Balaji's a rather good T20 bowler, and his stats suggest so. He's done well in both the SMAT and the IPL, and over 72 matches, so you can't go wrong with that. In fact, Dinda's also a decent option in this squad as a T20 specialist, and can come in place of a batsman- one of Gambhir and Yuvraj. Strike rate under 20, economy under 7, definitely worth a shout for now.

They need to line up Irfan, Zaheer, Balaji, Ashwin and Dinda against the South Africans. And also conserve wickets like they did today, in which case, they won't need to weaken their bowling to cushion their batting.

I'd say India should feed more spin to SA. What happened to Rahul Sharma BTW? Ashwin / Sharma would've been a great spin combo.

Never mind these also-rans, are we through yet or do we have to win our last game still?

If India beat SA, and you lose to Pakistan, you could go out. But it's highly unlikely because of net run rates. You'd have to get thrashed and India would have to thrash South Africa.

So basically, if you don't get hammed in your final game, you're through.

heck....another loss to India in a WC match.....this is getting tedious.....

and why the hell did Hafeez decided to bat first after winning the toss?

India have an easier road ahead now that they have beaten Pakistan. Saffers are out of the tournament (pretty much) and in pressure situations I don't facny their chances.

Australia on the other hand seem like they will hammer just about anyone that crosses their path

Umar Akmal at 7! Why?

And Gul opening the bowling v India is fail - after he bowled one over last match!

geez, another loss for us.

Quite disappointing to say the least! I expected a much better showing from us but our batsman have failed us. Levi is a walking wicket and I think him getting that 100 against NZ was the worst thing that could have happened to him and SA cricket. He needs to go away, learn how to hold a bat and play proper cricketing shots + learn to play through the offside.

Kallis looks horribly out of touch and too much pressure is being put on the middle order batsman. ( JP + AB) we can't gain any momentum in our batting and as a result we are posting below par score.

I think our bowling has been solid - with the exception of Parnell. Still don't know why Gazza thinks he is an international bowler. He bowls pies.

My team for India would be:
Faf
Amla
Albie
Kallis
JP
AB
Peterson
Ontong
Botha
Morkel
Steyn
