Nah, always been a fan tbh - in this format, anyway.

And I don't think he's been well treated in the 50 overs game.

It's Old Trafford, right?

Well at least some of the crowd got to see the women win earlier. 19 on the trot, and not a South African in sight. :D

Remember that time Scaly tried to argue that T20's were better than ODI's because mediocre test players are sometimes made to look good in ODI's?

That actually happened.

Play to start at 8.45, 9 overs a side. O joy.

All I've learned from the last hour of listening to TMS is that Michael Vaughan is doing Strictly this year.

I said mediocre players not mediocre Test players. There's rarely a contest between bat and ball. You can play out a bowler if you can't read him or whatever and he'll barely be a factor. Pick you moments to attack and milk the ball when it's not doing anything (most of the innings). It's a rubbish form of cricket where guy who don't have the technique for Test cricket can hang around no problem. The guys that don't have the raw talent to play T20 can make it. Part-time bowling becomes valuable. ODIs champion mediocrity and they heavily level the playing field.
