The ball's only eight and a half overs old, yet it's going gunbarrel straight again, just like it did for England.

I haven't seen any of this match so far (just heard radio commentary) sounds like this pitch is a batsman's paradise of the highest order. Is there nothing in it at all?

A bit of turn, nothing dramatic so far though. Plus the odd ball is keeping a bit low.

But it is not far from being the road to end all roads imo.

Hopefully stays that way. If it does I will have to be fair and wait for the rest of the series to see about Philanderer. Was so disappointed in him on Thursday as I showed but you have to let him off the way the game has gone since as apart from Steyn in the helpful conditions on day 2 and Kallis everyone has looked ordinary.

Makes you laugh that Morkel got 4 wickets despite looking by far the worst Saffer paceman on show though.
