Jeez the Stars look strong.

Hodge
Quiney
Wright
Hussey
White
Maxwell
Wade (?)
Faulkner
McKay
Hastings
Bird

I guess they still have Warne to come in, and they'll need a second keeper in case Wade is missing. Unless they plan on using Handscomb in that role.

Sixers looking like:

1. D Smith
2. Henriques
3. Maddinson
4. Haddin
5. Patterson
6.
7. O'Keefe
8.
9. Starc
10. Lalor
11. Hazelwood

Wonder if Moran and Thornely will play again. Hope so.

Surprised to see Dan Smith pick up a contract though; the bloke averages less than 14 after 44 games, has a high score of 6 in his last six T20 innings and is poor in the field when he's not keeping. They've signed Haddin too so they don't need him with the gloves; hopefully he's just a backup keeper and doesn't actually play unless Haddin is unavailable.

Wow the NSW sides suck.
Sixers side isn't too different from the one that won the thing last season tbh. Rohrer and Nevill have gone but they didn't really contribute much anyway and Haddin, if available as I expect, will more than cover for those two. Steve Smith and Brett Lee haven't signed for anyone yet but they're expected to re-sign for the Sixers.. and their main overseas last season was Lumb who averaged 12.

Assuming Smith and Lee stay on, the only major loss will be MacGill. Impossibly hard to replace though, granted.

I don't follow the state cricket very closely, but I've hardly heard of any of the Thunder players.

I remember last year, where they shot out of the blocks announcing Warner and Gayle straight away, then filled the rest with people I'd never heard of. Are they saving their big names for the end this time?

A lot of the big names tend to prefer to be closer to the city(?) IMO.

They do. Hence Carters now signing up for Sydney

Yeah Smith's surely a back-up. Haddn will open. Second overseas signing will hopefully be a batsman. not sure if narine is the right man either. sok, smith and maybe macgill is serviceable. Rohrer a big loss imo.

sydney gets new year's test and australia day. we areinvincible.

Prep turners for SoK, Narine and Gorilla to run wild on?

Someone should try and pick up Jos Buttler, if he's available for part of the BBL | 02 as they call it.

Surely a fair way back when it comes to West Indian fast bowlers in T20? I mean, I know they've got **** to sell, but still.
