LOL yes really hollow.Went to Headingly last night. Our last 5 over bowling is really killing us, Arafat must be in contention for worst overseas signing of the season, just gets carted.
Thought we were in with a chance at points during the chase but Ashraf and Starc bowled really well, if we had had Khan instead of Arafat I think we would have won, and not sure why we played Newby he's a liability and his last T20 was 5 years ago. Rafiq was also pretty good for Yorkshire who look a decent side but Rashid was piss poor and they bowled Root too many at the start, I'd say they are about 1 bowler short of being in contention, should get out of the group for the first time legally anyway. They have so many foreigners playing though it must be pretty hollow for Yorkshire fans.
Ballance also did a 'catch the ball over the boundary, throw it back in to save six' jobby but it happened "right in front of me" and I reckon he touched the ground before he released it. Turning point.
Still last year they did the T20 double over us and look what happened, we qualified from the group, they didn't and we won the championship.
Its Surrey they are the most overrated county going.Who'd have thought Surrey would be 27-5 after 7 overs on what is being described as a paradise of a pitch.
Come on Hampshire, county of my birth.![]()
I'd say YorkshireIts Surrey they are the most overrated county going.

In fairness to Surrey I doubt they have their minds fully on the cricket at present. Going to be a long hard remainder of the season for them I think. Relegation in the Championship and little to show in one day cricket I would imagine. Its Surrey they are the most overrated county going.
Well he has been somewhere sunny but I think he is back in the UK now, supposed to be playing for Surrey soonJust checked - Pietersen (and why did his parents give him the middle name Peter? Like calling your son Kevin John Johnson) has had two days' cricket - the Edgbaston Test - since 28 May. Altogether now: been back to see the family?
The French name's the clue, I suppose. Not really Jaques is of Yorkshire parentage I believe
