Interesting 5th wicket partnership for Hampshire.

54 runs, 5.5 overs, RR: 9.25

Maxwell on 51* off 26 and Ervine on 3* off 11. Maxwell actually came in *after* Ervine, who was on 1* off 2 balls when the 4th wicket went down.

Edit: 6 more for Maxwell.

Maxwell is a gun in general; I'm stoked he's playing well. He was having a bit of a mare in the Second XI comp though I think so I'm kind of surprised he's actually in the side.

Kent putting out one of the most pop-gun attacks I think I've ever seen versus Middlesex; not one of Davies, Ball, Stevens or Azhar Mahmood worrying 75mph.

Coles is quicker but his one over went for 18...

England news 2012: Eoin Morgan calls for English T20 revamp | England Cricket News | ESPN Cricinfo

Honestly why do people feel this need to say English T20 needs to be revamped because we don't draw in some former greats and more overseas players. You'd think our T20 doesn't produce any good matches but players seem to forget that cricket's not the no.1 sport in the UK.
English T20 is obviously lacking cheerleaders and missing a VW at the side of the pitch, needs sorting soon as.

Tredwell/Davies - 8 overs for 44
The rest - 12 overs for 158...

Billings v Finn could be a good watch - see how good he is against a proper quick.

That's a pretty handy top three for Middlesex, when they all come off - which they did today. Does Stirling even play in the four-day games? They have Denly, Robson, Rogers and sometimes Strauss at the top of the order - but I'd try to fit him in somewhere.

60 off four overs by Mahmood briefly threatened the all-time 'record' of 67 by James Krtley.

A bit daunting to see the req. rate up to 11.7 when it's only the 4th over! Going back to Stirling, he hasn't played a CC match for Middx this season, in fact he's played almost three times as many ODIs as first-class matches, the epitome of the modern Associate player. He seems like a natural for the middle order but when you factor in Malan and Dexter there probably isn't room for him.

****s *tips hat*.

How packed do t20 games get? I've watched a few but hard to gauge.

Should I pre book tix for Surrey v Sussex at The Oval (night game) on July 3rd or could I just walk up and get tickets at the gate?

I thought Starceh well and truly ballsed it up then when he did his blind man fielding a ball impression but he came back and bowled a excellent last over, Ashraf bowled really well in the previous one as well. Good to see we've got our fielding sorted this year been a bit of a let down previously.
