Reckon de Lange is overrated. Don't think he's worth an overseas spot over Shakib, RTD or Morgan. But I guess there aren't many local fast bowlers.

Many complaints have come in from Bangladesh about the exclusion of Shakib al Hasan from the XI. While it's gone over the top there, I'd say they have a point. Both Shakib and Ryan should have been playing in place of Kallis and Lee- it's an easy guess who's better fit for T20. Merely picking teams on big names doesn't help.

Ten Doeschate has been crap for a year or so. No way he should be in any IPL team as their overseas player.

Shakib on the other hand is definitely unlucky.

I'm sorry but Ganguly as captain and opener. I know Ganguly is a hero in India but this really demeans the whole competition

and why would you bat Parnell at 3.

Let Uthappa open and shape the innings imo.

And Steve Smith is to Australia what Luke Wright is to England.

Yet another low-scoring game on the cards. This time, it's not the cricket fans, but journalists and media group that have started to complain, and think the IPL so far is a 'damp squib', just because the bowlers have had a good time. Really.

And Steve Smith is to Australia what Luke Wright is to England.

Smith's good in this sort of situation tbf eg it's less about hitting 10 an over which he sucks at, more about making sure they bat the overs

I mean 10 runs an over is great, but there's a risk of not batting out if they lost a wicket or two now

Real lack of overseas quality. Can’t tell me there isn’t an Indian who could do what Marlon Samuels does – fail with the bat and bowl no frills darts. The only thing the Indian wouldn’t be able to do is “bowl” that 120kph quicker one without getting into to some bother. Parnell at 3, non-hitting Australians in the middle order with a near 40 year old opening, just Mickey Mouse.

I'm not sure if it's a lack of overseas quality, or just really poor signings - see M de Lange, M. Samuels.
