There is no point. Both will end their careers in 2-3 years time. What we need is to develop someone into the role. I was hoping for Azhar Ali but he can't play ODI's due to his incredibly slow strike rate.

Afridi will definitly be around for the 2015 WC.So appointing him as the captain and letting him develop a side for next WC makes perfect sense.Misbah however, will not be around.

Even if Afridi isn't around, which is highly unlikely,I think the captaincy will go to Hafeez.

Am I right in assuming that Asif wouldn't have featured in any of Pakistan's games in the UAE because of his drug offences in Dubai(?) ?

So Yuraj was your fifth bowler yet the attach wasn't laughable
Yuvraj performed well in the World Cup. He bowled like a good spinner. He had good flight and turned the ball regularly. It is so bloody wrong to look at career records when assessing the performance of an attack in one series. 15 wickets at 25.13 was a great performance.

I am talking about Indian bowling attack in general.

and as far as the world cup goes... it like saying you pick one of (Yusaf, Raina, Jadja) as your fifth bowler and he performs well in one series, that still doesn't mean that your attack is good.

And yet you consider Morne Morkel better than Broad.
