There's something in the water that has resulted in a huge number of decent Laft-armers appearing on the scene at the moment.

I've been impressed with the video highlights of what I have seen of Lonsdale.

A bowler has just taken 8/23, and all you care about is his pace when considering him for international selection? **** me dead, the Mitchell McClenaghan story is starting to bring home everything that is wrong with New Zealand cricket.

This Firefox extension is pretty good for a one-off download or getting the links to put in a post. To download all the scoring shots in a century or something in one click, FlashGot is good.

Little helpers for IE or Chrome are thin on the ground for obvious reasons.

As a South African I have an interest in the South Africans playing in New Zealand. I know of a few such as Wagner, Cachopa boys etc. Any of them doing particularly well?

Wagner's two matches away from being the leading FC wicket-taker for a second season in a row, and should be in the West Indies in June, probably Tests-only. Only concern is it's been a while since we really saw him put in the big ones pace-wise (could be just being smart), and was very hittable even to Johnny Domestic in the limited overs stuff.

Carl and Craig Cachopa have started to fare better, although Craig now with a fight on his hands to maintain a Wellington spot with Luke Ronchi's arrival.

Craig C seems to be playing as a batsman for Welly with Papps taking the stumper duties. He's fighting with Pollard for a batsman's spot. Until Jesse sorts his head out anyway.

Wagner goes for plenty but I assume it's because he's attempting to take wickets. This is going on stats alone, mind. I have never seen him play in my life.

I've seen him bowl a couple of times and it's more like it's just a rank bad ball thing. He's either really on and swinging it or off and spraying it.
