Haha ironically I wasn't initially planning on picking him. I actually considered trying to make my way up to Pollock and then realized there were a handful within striking distance of him and would most certainly pick him (see weldone's pick) before I could set it up for myself. Hence I figured I'd do the next best thing and get a top bowler since those are in short supply right now.

Haha yeah, one reason I chose Ian Chappell was this.

Of course, the other reason is that Chappell was a fine batsman and captain himself.

Yeah man! weldone just screwed it up further. I had 3 in mind. Pollock, Typhoon and Davidson and all 3 are gone now... This means I have to spend few more hours now... :|

Quite happy to have two of those three plus Lindwall. Gives me quite an awe-inspiring pace attack.

Thought the jump was a pretty good idea and it seemed to work fairly well. It did enable you to get some top picks in many different playing eras until now. Jumping back and forth is still an option but it probably depends on which players are needed for your team right now.
