Thats irrelevant, doesnt change the fact he is a better hitter than anyone else in that team bar Hussey.wade bats at 7 -or higher - he actually comes in where the game is alive, rather than dead, and there's no telling how he would have performed.
but yes I agree with Noble's point that promoting Faulker that far up caused more trouble in the end
White, Voges, Hussey and Bailey combined for 27 runs from 36 deliveries. This was after a great platform had been provided from the power-play overs. A run-a-ball effort from the supposed strength of the Stars squad would have been near close enough given the work by Wade towards the end. A very disappointing end to the BBL for my side in a campaign that never felt like gaining great momentum.
You see, George, you've had a wonderful life....good to see someone got it, definitely spot on there.
batman wade's giving it a go haha
Nah, completely different deck. That one at the 'G got slower as the game went on. This one was evenly paced the whole way through."if he bats in the top 7 the Stars win that game."
the fact that he did his heroics when the game was dead is totally relevant. Indeed in the previous perth game Wade batted up the order and couldn't hit the big shots. Stars lost the game because A) Some costly fielding mistakes in the Perth innings, B) Poor death bowling and C) Ronchi pulled off a catch I doubt he can even fathom.
