Even with Siddle and Hilfenhaus, this attack just feels so much more balanced than the Hilf, Siddle, Johnson combo. Probably because we actually have two bowlers who can use the new ball.

Hard to complain with the seam movement he is getting. Bowling the wall is no easy feat.

I just saw the ball that Hilf bowled Dravid with. What a gem of a delivery.

Hilf's had two problems in the past.

1) He's bowled too short.
2) He's been too one dimensional.

In this test he's been neither, which is why he's getting wickets. He's always had the raw materials to become a good bowler, but never really lived up to that potential. If he can string together more performances like this, he'll be a good long term option for Australia.
