No Zaheer hasn't found any consistency in line or length, he'll bowl a decent nut and then not following it up, he's not keeping the pressure on atm.

As George Bailey said, Ed Cowan is the best leaver in Australian First Class Cricket. An opener batting cautiously and keeping his wicket until lunch is awesome for the team particularly with an aggressor in Warner has his opening partner. it's not quite Slater and Taylor, but it's close.

I wish Marsh had of batted more sensibly.

Does anyone know what Ed Cowan's favourite dish is? I'm not sure it's been mentioned by the comms and obviously it's pretty damn important.....

A decent morning of test cricket, Cowans done well on his debut, needs to kick on this afternoon and play a few more shots mind but he's done his job so far and seen the new ball off.

Fairly even session. India haven't bowled well but they've just about caused a couple of wickets worth of trouble. Zaheer looking the least dangerous of the pacers is a big concern.

Is Marsh really the best option at 3?

Obviously talented but the mail has always been that he is inconsistent and a "nicker" - not really the traits we need

Reckon that this could be a very good wicket to bowl on tomorrow as it should still have sideways movement but at a quicker pace
