Check his record against South Africa and get back to me.Whenever Cook has been faced with a decent challenge, he has faltered.

Are you talking about Tests?I do not really know what is the hype about Eng Vs Pak.
Its certainly 2-1 odds for England since they have got a very balanced and well disciplined team, everyone tends to do his job while the Pakistanis have to rely on heroics of Ajmal and Akmal/Hafeez/Afridi.
Yes and T20 [If there is a series]Are you talking about Tests?
lol, you're a funny guy.Yes and T20 [If there is a series]
In ODIs English team is as bad as Bangladesh :\
Not joking when I say they are as bad as Bangladesh. Probably should've added "in Sub-continent" too but the recent series have exposed the English bowlers incompetence while bowling in sub-continent.lol, you're a funny guy.
*facepalm*Pakistan are a damn difficult side to beat in ODIs in Sharjah. I reckon they will easily take the series.
Tests would be interesting. England has a far stronger batting and a more settled bowling line up. It would come down to how they face Ajmal. For Pakistan, the test would be to face Swann and Anderson (provided he can get the ball to swing. Anderson without movement is an all-you-can-eat-buffet for the batsmen)
*facepalm*
It's like the last year of cricket just didn't happen.
I was talking about it generally.Z-man, I'm at a loss to fathom why you think the Pakistan Test side is relying on individual performances at all, given what we've seen over the last year. That's before your choosing to attribute those performances to Afridi (retired from Tests since last year and hasn't really played with the current side at all), Akmal (only recently recalled) and Hafeez (averaging around 30 and all his best performances have been against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, matches where he has hardly been alone). Not only that, but if anyone in that side has been shining above their team-mates, it's Younis and Misbah, who you've ignored.
I can only assume that you haven't actually watched Pakistan in a Test for about 18 months, and are basing your assessment mostly on the World Cup.
Oh, and don't argue with GF over which players are on Bangladesh's level. There's previous there.
Totally different conditions in England/Australia and the middle east. England's success in helpful conditions doesn't mean they will do equally well everywhere. India performed quite well at home even when we were a rank mediocre side everywhere else in the 90s/*facepalm*

Australia provides helpful bowling conditions does it?Totally different conditions in England/Australia and the middle east. England has a very strong side and there is every chance they will take the tests convincingly, but in ODIs Pakistan have the upper hand. England's performance in ODIs on spin friendly tracks has not been upto the mark - seen both in the world cup and the recently concluded ODI series.
Australian wickets have good carry and bounce which are very suited to English batsmen. Its like India playing in Pakistan or Bangladesh where the conditions though not exactly same, are quite similar making it easier for the batsmen to adjust.Australia provides helpful bowling conditions does it?
The UAE produces spinning wickets does it?
I'm out. There's no point arguing with this sort of idiocy.
well done shakib this is his HS?Shakib with a century. Nafees not far off.
Yep it is. He scored exactly 100 against NZ in 2010. Good to see him finally convert a start into a century.well done shakib this is his HS?
