Blakus

State Vice-Captain
Really, there's no excuse for not getting 2 fantastic cricketers this round. Like Himannv said, there are so many good players left.

Whatever it takes!!!
Weekes and Barlow are a great pair to get off a single generation but generally I m happy with every pick of mine...

zaremba

Cricketer Of The Year
Starting to think we might have been better with one pick each from the first generation (I'm happy with mine thanks) and three from this one. Interesting to see how things pan out from 1971 onwards.

Yeah. As more teams are introduced into Test cricket, the top 5% or whatever of cricketers in the era is going to encompass a larger number of players, so it'll be progressively easier to pick up good players at the bottom of the draft order as the draft progresses.

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
I like the balance of two from each generation.

Most drafts result in everyone picking the greatest players of the past thirty years, plus the occasional legend from the past. This draft forces you into studying new players and it makes selection interesting when comparing DK Lillee to a slow medium from the 1890's with a bowling average in the teens.

Yeah agree, normally I try and get my bowlers as quickly as possible but in this had to go about things a little differently.

What a selection - no room for Colin Cowdrey, Tom Graveney or Hugh Tayfield - Wes Hall sorely exercised my mind and doubtless there are others but in the end I took the view there will be plenty of decent quicks to come but I may not get another opportunity to pick a batter as good as

Vijay Hazare
