Didn't know which thread to put this in but it looks as if Rafa Benitez is on the verge of signing with PSG.

Being denied now, by some.

BTW, yeah, put all football gubbins in here, just tradition it's called this really. Saves clogging up the sport forum.:)

Mixed feeling about the red was a funny looking challenge.

Really decent game that though, it may be Fulham but always enjoy watching Liverpool lose. Fulham looked just a fraction away from being a pretty decent side actually.

Sure Liverpool will moan about the red card and point our the near misses again but do not look a top 4 side to me.

Nath's right. Liverpool look a top four side when they play 4-5-1 with some combination of Suarez-Kuyt-Bellamy-Maxi-Downing up top and out wide, but they look awful and disjointed playing 4-4-2. Daliglish must be so desperate to prove he wasn't wrong to spend those millions on Carroll, but when he could've had most of the strikers in Europe for the same price it's looking a losing battle.

Shame really, I think Liverpool could finish fourth if they stuck with 4-5-1 and used their pace and technical ability.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are much better teams than Liverpool, Chelsea are borderline depending on what they do in January.

We were essentially a 4-5-1 tonight.
