Southee has been a disappointment. Medium pacer at times.

Not up to fitness, yet. Was brilliant and over 140km/h at the world cup.

The 3 NZ pace bowlers seem to be on average 7-8 kms slower than their Australian counterparts right across the board. They seem to average about 134kms while the Aussie's seem to be about 142km on average. Makes a huge difference, especially against tailenders.

^ This is why I wouldn't mind NZ gambling on someone with raw pace like a Milne because even if he isn't accurate, he will put fear into opposition tailenders.

He has struggled a bit this season to even do that domestically. Have hope for him though.
