The game is gone unless tomorrow the conditions get overcast and tricky to bat in, the pitch has no demons in it and this batting effort from the Saffas is just putting a few more question marks over our batting performance.

Whatever it takes!!!
Then why is he whinging about pitches in a thread in which has no relation to poor pitches?
Where was i whinging about pitches? I am complaining of the ICC's way of categorizing what is a good pitch and what isn't and how a similar scorecard with spinners doing the damage on a SC wicket will mean the pitch getting reported.

It's exciting, but just nowhere close. My opinion of course, some may prefer it the other way around.
DWTA.

Watching spinners operate at their best is gun.

To be fair, spinners rely on the pitch more than seamers. The ICC can't really report something for being 'incredibly overcast' as has been the case often when pacemen dominate. I think the spin friendly pitches are fine, just some of them are pretty heinous and designed to suit three pronged spin attacks, which shouldn't happen.
Myth.

And If they can't report something for being "Incredibly Overcast" then they shouldn't report something for being incredibly hot and sunny and the pitch cracking up early as a result too. Overcast conditions have more effect on a pitch with juice/live grass on it which is hard, while Sunny conditions cause a dry pitch to break up early and spin more.

Well that's a right royal nutjob of a day's cricket.

No really way to sum it up. Bowling's been good, but we've seen nothing in the vein of Steyn's second spell from yesterday. Pitch has been on the seamy side of average, but mostly fine. Batting has been beyond woeful.

Would say SA to win by 4 wickets tomorrow, but **** knows, frankly.

Again, how good was Clarke's innings? Serious question here, btw.. I didn't watch it. But sounds like it was all kinds of awesome...
