A time to reflect on the batsmen who batted on under prepared wickets which were never covered when it started raining. Time to stop thinking those fellows were school kids compared to our post graduate giants ??

PS : And this does not look like a mine field frankly . . . though clearly a pitch that suits the pacers . . .
Tongue in cheek comment tbh mate.

Great work Siddy! Happy that we've managed more than NZ's 26..

Yeah I always go on about Siddle, but he must bat ahead of Harris next Test.

They make Philander look like Glenn McGrath.
McGrath would've been proud of the way he's bowled in this innings, tbf. More importantly though I reckon McGrath would've averaged about 9 with the ball in Tests if he could have carried this pitch around his pocket

Australia cross the first target - New Zealands 26 (all out) - the lowest ever test innings score

What the **** is happening out there? 13-3 at tea to 24-9. hahahaha. WTF!

Thought SA might have been dismal but this just gets crazier. Aus 28-9 and still leading by 200+!

A team like Australia has NO business handing out 5 wickets in this shameful fashion to him. They make Philander look like Glenn McGrath.
Credit where credit is due, he's bowled really well. Noted that he got the new ball in his first test ahead of Morkel, and I believe he bowled well in the tour match. Haddin and Johnson dismissals aside in this innings he's deserved his haul

If this is the way the pitches are prepared in SA this time round, god bless SA and Australia.
