Usually I'd rip into a post like this but a technically correct 30 preceding a soft dismissal would pretty much do the job at the moment so, for once, having Paine might've paid off in this match.I know I said this yesterday, but how far is Tim Paine from being fit? Seriously...
Looooong way. Hand in plaster.I know I said this yesterday, but how far is Tim Paine from being fit? Seriously...
Oops, thought it was a head injury. The hand injury mate. The hand injury ffs.
As has been mentioned about 80 times.
Not just this test though is it, it happens nearly every one when the opposition have a half decent attack. His record is as bad if not worse than Marcus North. At least North could bowl yet people defend Hughes all the time. He isn't up to it, like Bopara for England, too loose outside off stump to ever make a real test bat. That might be true, but I reckon it's pretty harsh to target him in this test. Whilst it isn't a minefield, the ball is still seaming around plenty especially with for the SA bowlers. Add to that the ridiculous amount of wickets that of fallen and the rapid pace of play in general, and it would be pretty damn hard work out there to organise your game.
Bugger, Matthew Wade anyone? Just made a good hundred in the Shield match and has already been on this tour. In all seriousness, what a ******** shot, for lack of a better description, if Allan Border was captain you'd just go straight out the gate to the team hotel and start packing, change your identity etc.Looooong way. Hand in plaster.
Will see all 4 within about 3 hours the way it is going. Its just a surreal day, i cannot believe what I'm watching. I thought that 2nd day of the Leeds test in 2000 was weird, this is nuts. Will see all 4 innings on one day!
