Don't think so. All out cricket did a piece about falls from grace after winning awards and he featured. I think they said he lost his contract

Rohrer is probably deserving but the more I think about the more sure I am they'll avoid 'double dipping' and he'll just play the NSW tour match to get someone else in there (lynn if fit etc).

edit Usman could make it back from SA in time, and given he would have missed about 4 shield games it could be him

He's a good option in Shield Cricket, I don't think he's quite got the versatility required for OD cricket. Be interesting to see how he goes for the Renegades in T20.

He runs in hard and bangs the ball in all day long, and has a very good yorker too which he uses as an attacking weapon. He's been bowling on a pretty slow pitch at home for Casey in club cricket for a fair while, so he knows how to grind away; interestingly I never remember him doing all that well in Futures League stuff, and he was often playing as one of the overage players.

Bankstown is a pretty good wicket for batting at the best of times, but whenever a state fixture is held at minor grounds you always get the groundsman preparing absolute highways because:

a) They don't want to be criticised by the players for producing a tough wicket to bat on, thus margainalising their chances of holding fixtures in the future, and;
b) Curators of smaller grounds don't have alot of experience in preparing wickets which are designed to be played on for four days straight, so they overcompensate and make the pitch flat as to ensure it stays together.

It's good that SOK has stuck with Smith despite him copping a bit of treatment, and even better that he got rewarded with a wicket, but I do think he's underbowled himself again.
