Finn's only about 12 tho. I think he's still younger now than AAD was when he debuted for SA and is obviously getting quicker as he grows into his not inconsiderable length.

Deffo "fast" for my money. Not like he occasionally shaves 90mph like Dernbach or Bres, he was constantly way over it.

113/5 then. Nasser informs us it's the lowest ever score batting first at The Oval in a T20. Shocking, in all honesty.
I agree with you, it was more a comment about Donald not been that fast. Like I said it's one thing doing it in one day stuff but Test is another thing altogether.
I'm actually looking forward to watching Finn bowl next winter or summer, to see if he continues to get faster or at least hold his pace for longer spells.

The thing is that he was consistently high 80s in Tests last year, and the first time I really saw him crank it up was on the limited overs leg of the Australia tour. It could well be a stamina issue - part of what made his performance in the Perth test so poor was because he was quite visibly knackered, and that was after bowling all tour at the aforementioned fast-medium.

Obviously he's got time on his side, but I suspect it'll be a long while before he can really give us this kind of pace in Tests.

Windies making a game of it. Careful what you wish for, etc.

Hate players not walking when they're bowled. Looks churlish.

At least these two new bowlers are showing a bit of skill and fight, another drubbing wouldn't have proven much or been very entertaining. Need to play straighter against the SLA, though, the batsman.

Hopefully we'll get to see a bit of Buttler finally.

Edit: These cutters are going some on this surface, clever bowling.

Looks like Ravi was just having a hot week! Back to his usual dross again now!

We are going to get massacred in India! We're too reliant on hitting the ball square and with cross-batted shots!
