*Official* Fourth Test at The Oval

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
But Cook was out in the England first innings, so he hadn't been continuously on the pitch going into the Indian second innings. He was on the pitch continuously for less than 3 days.
England declared as soon as Cook got out. He was on the field for every delivery.

???

That's not relevant to either case because of the rain breaks, change of innings, etc

fmd Dravid why you got to be so good
he's the best player ever in english conditions IMO. There's no doubt in my mind.
3 100s in 2002
3 hundreds this time around
a couple of 90s in the two other series.

his avg in england is probably above 70 right now?

WAG

hopefully he'll correct his record against Aus this time around.

Was among the top echeleon of batsman for me even before this series or before his slump. All subjective as to what you consider all time great though.

And Ikki's grandsons will never admit that a attack of Bresnan,Anderson,Broad and Swann was a all time great attack in any case and will refer to his performance against Steyn if we are referring to this year:p
(Which in itself shows a flaw in the performance against the best consistent bowlers argument.)

I think the whole series shows a flaw in the idea that performing against the best is what counts. Dravid's runs this series haven't been worth **** because India haven't had a chance of getting anything from the series. You'd much rather he made runs when it might actually achieve something for his team.

Demonstrates great skill though, obvz.

Which explains why Laxman hasn't performed:p

Credit where it's due, India have shown a lot more fight today.

Mishra playing sensibly in support to Dravid and, as the square drive off Bresnan suggests, not actually a total mug.
