Good points as I see are:

- Neilsen will be out (surely he won't win the new application process)
- Hilditch will be out
- The neglect of the longer form of the game (Shield and Tests) has been recognised, and
- The number of central contracts issued will be reduced and be given greater longer form weighting.

Player ratings:

Sutherland - 6/10. Seemed very defensive and really quite annoyed at everything.
Clarke - 7/10. The most frank member of the review, but still seemed to beat around the bush.
Argus - 5/10. Didn't seem to know much about actual cricket, and came off as a bit of a slimey businessman.

Chappell's current role is national talent manager and is then a selector. i think the review is saying you can't do both. you'd also think this rules out stuff like jamie cox being head of SA cricket (or whatever he is) and then being a selector. but chappell could quit national talent manager and go for the head selector role.

Yeah, think that change has ruled out bolters from anywhere other NSW being picked for the forseeable future if the coach ends up being from there too. Not a rule, of course, but a big risk.
