According to cricinfo Tremlett is definitely out, and Anderson is doubtful. Could be a good test for Finn, I hope he does well.

Onions isn't crap. He's bowled decently this season but they'll want someone with experience who's had sucess at international level rather than going to Woakes, Hogg or Harris yet.

And to be honest I doubt Hogg will ever be international quality from what I've seen of him regardless of his amazing season, but I was wrong on Bresnan so we'll have to see.

Shows our depth that we can bring in an ashes winner from 09 into the squad and all feel he will do a job.

So in this match India will have more of their full strength team than England but we'll still whip their asses.

So if Anderson is doubtful he either plays the test and they rest him in the one day series or they drop him for the test and play him in the one dayers. No way should he end up playing both if he has an injury problem.

Happy with the Onions call up. Think they will go with Finn if Anderson is out though for a bit of variety in the attack. Onions wouldn't let us down though, great to have someone like him in reserve

Glad Onions has been called up and based on what I've seen from Finn and Onions I would go with Onions. However, I've heard a lot about the strides that Finn has made recently and he's had a successful season so far so I would not object to his selection. We already have the series and the # 1 spot in the bag anyways.

I'm still waiting or that obligatory one test in the series where England just ****s up to no end.

10 tests in 4 years for Tremlett. Just invest in Finn or a bowler who isn't habitually broken. You could almost say Tremlett was the Darren Anderton of English cricket but Anderton actually turned out more regularly for England and Tremlett unlike Anderton, is top class. Turns 30 in September.
