*Official* Bangladesh in Zimbabwe

Yeah certainly guys like Tamim, Shakib and Rahim who are their biggest batting talents don't waste any time when at the crease. If any of them ton up they'll do it in quick time.

Elton wouldn’t be in my Zim side. Get Forster Mutizwa in there or make a real beeline for Gary Ballance before the England poach.
Yeah I definitely think Elton is a bit pointless when three seamers are being picked anyway. Having him bat seven and bowl first change so both Price and Cremer can play would have been fine, or even just having him bat eight and bowl first change ahead of Mpofu to lengthen the batting would've been okay. As it stands though he's basically playing as a batsman and he's not good enough to get in ahead of Mutizwa IMO.

I was making an eleven that was representative of CW. You lot hate him.
Given I've dumped loads on Zimbabwe to win this Test and stand to make a massive profit if they do, I'm loving him right now. 4. 0/1 and 31 is the sort of contribution I expected from him and he didn't let me down. :)

How much did you lose on Vusi tonning up?

I think I only had $15 on that, might've been $10 or $20. Nothing, basically. I've basically got my life savings on Zimbabwe to win the Test though. :p I should probably lay some of it off on Bangladesh and ensure a profit either way before today's play tbh.

Yes some important strikes towards the end of the day for Zimbabwe, was really impressed with Kyle Jarvis, thought he bowled very well and deserved his couple of wickets. Does very much have a look of Glenn McGrath in his action.
looks just like him.

Yeah as Uppercut said, it wasn't really aggressive or innovative captaincy as it gave them less time to bowl Bangladesh out anyway. If Bangladesh win this they'll do it well before close so it doesn't make a lot of sense. I guess he might've been thinking that Bangladesh's batsmen might bat recklessly if they think they're in with a chance but they'd bat recklessly anyway IMO because that's what they're like.
I disagree with this. Bangladesh still need to bat at around 3 runs per over. No easy task on a day 5 pitch, especially if Price presumably bowls many overs.

The good thing about Rahim, Ashraful and Mahmudullah having brain fades in the first innings, is that they are likely to be a little more cautious this innings.

Also just on Jarvis, it's funny, he's had people saying he reminds them of McGrath, Southee and Steve Waugh so far this Test. I was almost going to write McGrath as his built is similar, but I reckon he bowled like Waugh.

These two and Shakib need to get Bangers within 70 odd runs for this to go their way.

Pretty gun match, stupid declaration but it makes for good cricket.

Bangers must be gutted not to have Naeem in for Razzak and Mortaza in for a seamer. They can have a pretty decent tail when they play their best team.
