*Official* First Test at Lord's

Bah.

Couple more quick ones and India will sniff a chance of victory.
Posted after Strauss went. I'm blaming Corrin for the collapse.

It takes some serious logical fallacies to twist a 200 run first innings lead to anything other than you've outplayed the opposition fairly thoroughly, tbh.
This is true, but the scoreline was more a reflection of how poorly India had played rather than how well we'd gone. India have stepped up second innings, it's fair to say.

India can be so shabby. Can't help but feel that the quality of cricket coming from the #1 sides in the early 2000's and 90's was 20 times as clean and impressive.
I doubt anyone but the most one-eyed Indian fanboy would demur, tbh.

Shocking revelation that Australia (and WI before them) were much more dominant than India are now... :p

Morgan you ****ing idiot.

Quality catch, thought it was clean straight away.
TBH live, I thought he had grassed it - maybe because of the way he slid. One of the few instances where replay made it look cleaner than live, at least for me.

Holy **** what happened? lol

Pitch doing something or just crap batting?
Very good bowling and mediocre batting I'd say.

As top the pitch, who knows. Looks okay and we keep getting told there's a period of batting dominance just round the corner. But England often struggled to their 1st innings total against a Khan-less attack, India's stellar batting only made a mediocre score and now England are collapsing like a collapsy thing.

Darren Bravo looked a lot better than any of the English batsmen against this Indian attack on a more treacherous pitch.Minus Zaheer Indian bowling is just above average

Am I just weird when I say I really like Broad's cover drive?
I am always of the opinion that Broad is better batsman than some of those batting higher.Earlier his defense was a bit loose but there was no doubt about his driving prowess

Yeah, And Harbhajan is also better than most of the batsmen batting above him. Should have both of them open all matches for India and England and do away with Cook, Trott, Dravid etc.
