I like Ishant as a tailender, knows exactly what his limits are and sticks to them. Plays for the guy at the other end and unlike many lower order players you have to earn his wicket as he doesn't often gift you it with an extravagant shot.

Only way he plays is if they drop Raina and go in with 5 bowlers and take the risk because they are 1-0 down after this match. Be amazed to see him play next week to be honest.
If they patch him up and rush him back they'll probably ruin him for the series like yer crims did with McGrath in 2005.

Yeah. AWTA. He's clearly got next to no batting ability at all but he's worked on his defence and he's making the most of what he does have. I'd bounce him though tbh; he's always looked absolutely awful against the short ball - he can't resist trying to defend it.

Jimmy finishes it off, shame on Broady but he bowled Brilliantly.
Very good knock by Dravid, is unbeaten at the end.

Perfect day for us i reckon, bowled them out and know we can bat them out of the game in the first 2 sessions tomorrow and have a charge at victory on the last day.

Only question is how many overs do we go for as I think against this attack we could milk the runs easily to get to 450ish in front just after tea tomorrow.

England got us good right now but I'd like to see our bowlers go in aggressively and not allown England to control us, this obviously would require Sharma to stop bowling a piece of ****, just imagine you're playing a team of Ricky Ponting's!

Indian fans get your rain dances ready! This is going to be a test of Strauss's captaincy for sure, how much of a lead will he want? Forecast says cloudy till tomorrow afternoon, then sunshine for pretty much the rest of the match. Sort of ideal for India really (well, a monsoon would be ideal for India lol) but means it wont be easy to score fast in the morning session, and if the sun comes out as we saw yesterday it's a lot easier to bat (helps if they bowl tripe as well...). Good contest on the cards.
